ATTRACTIONS

BLUE LAGOON – Krknjasi, island of Drvenik Veli
Krknjasi bay on the east coast of the island Veli Drvenik is known as the Blue Lagoon because of crystal clear sea with lighter and darker blue spots which create a tropical paradise feeling. This natural gem is protected with two islands from the outside, large (Veliki) and small (Small) Krknjas. The nice sandy sea bottom is excellent for snorkeling, swimming and spends time in pure nature ” stress-free” on the yacht. Popular Dalmatian restaurant exists near the beach on shore, and this makes the option to go to lunch or take a drink for someone who goes to the shore side.

Way of the Cross under the sea – Jelinak bay, Trogir – FIRST IN THE WORLD AND ONLY
At a depth of four to eight meters, there are 52 statues placed at 14 Stations of the Cross. At a depth of ten meters there is an imposing eight-meter statue of Jesus Christ, symbolizing the Resurrection. Due to the shallow depth, the location is suitable for all divers, from snorkelers to all scuba categories. Art recognizes numerous and various forms of representation of the Stations of the Cross, either through paintings or sculptures, but nothing similar has ever been realized – the Stations of the Cross under the sea have never been made. The sculptures themselves are made of ecological concrete, in natural human size. A special point of interest is that each statue is unique, made by hand, without a mold. Next to each station there is a stone plaque with a serial number and text in English.

Mala Rina – island Drvenik Mali – Sandy beach
The Bay of Mala Rina is situated on the northern coast of Drvenik Mali. The swimming cove with gently sloping shores and a small pebbled beach lies in a northwesterly direction from the port, about 1.8 km away. As a popular destination for boaters the beach is often approached via the sea. There are many anchoring possibilities in this gentle bay. The coast is mostly covered by flat rocks and there are some scattered trees and shrubs which provide some shade. Tourists will not find any facilities here as the beach is surrounded by unspoiled nature. That means neither parasol rentals, changing rooms or beach bars.

All the islands in the area are full of beautiful beaches, hidden secrets, a wealth of flora and fauna, and many restaurants with a variety of dishes, especially local ones with ingredients from the sea…some of them are hard to find because they are hidden in small bays…it’s worth to be discovered!
